13. NorwaySong: Vardlokk Helene Bøksle was born 1981 in Norway and is a singer and actress. She writes most of her material herself, in a mixed genre of folk, pop and folk rock. As a 13-year-old she sang at the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize. In autumn 2003 she participated in the talent competition Kjempesjansen on NRK with Hannah Wilder on the Hardanger fiddle. They reached the final and ended up in fourth place. Bøksle has provided vocals for the theme music for the video game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, composed by Knut Avenstroup Haugen in 2009. This music received numerous awards worldwide, including Hollywood Music Awards for best game music. |
