15. Rest of the World (Iceland)

Song: Nótt
Artist: Yohanna
Music & Lyrics: María B. Sverrisd'ottir, Marcus Frenell & Beatrice Eriksson

Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir started performing on stage at the age of nine after participating in singing classes. SHe is no stranger to the fans of Eurovision Song Contest, but you probably know her better as Yohanna.

She managed to become the runner-up to Alexander Rybak in Eurovision 2009. Her song 'Is it true?' enchanted Europe, gathering 218 points and bringing home the highest placing for Iceland since 1999, when Selma sang 'All out of luck'.

Yohanna participated in the Icelandic selection for Eurovision Song Contest but didn't manage to repeat the success from 2009. But she was given a second chance by the OGAE Rest of the World-branch, so here she is; representing both Iceland and the Rest of the World.
