6. SpainSong: Abrázame Lucía Pérez was born in 1985 in the beautiful village of O Incio, in the Celtic mountains of Galicia. She has been a music lover since her childhood, when she started taking part in song contests and winning them. When she was barely 17 she won her first TV contest and in 2003 she recorded her first album, which received the Galician 'Gold Disc Award'. Her forth and latest album was released last year and she is an established artist in both Spain and Chile. Lucía studied singing and classic guitar and is qualified as a music teacher. She is currently finishing her degree in pedagogics and also competing here with the song Abrázame (Hold me). |
