7. SwedenSong: Something In Your Eyes Jenny Silver started her career in the dance band Candela which were very popular in Sweden in the 1990's. She has starred in several Swedish versions of different musicals such has Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. Last year she participated in the Swedish selection for Eurovision Song Contest, called Melodifestivalen, with a ballad named 'A Place To Stay'. This year she changed concept and sang a more traditional pop-schlager-song. And even though she just missed out on the big final, the Swedish pop-schlager-fans embraced her performance and made it their favorite song this year, including the honour to represent Sweden in the Second Chance Contest 2011. |
